I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and practice traditional Cognitive
Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as well as differing modalities to meet the assessed needs
of individual clients.
I have lived and worked in the Highlands for twenty years and have practiced as a
CBT therapist since 2011. I am also a qualified social worker and have had over twenty
years’ experience of working with and supporting adults with mental health conditions,
including adults with addictions, learning difficulties and physical health conditions.
My journey has involved developing my work as a therapist and I am committed to and
passionate about empowering others to make changes
in their lives with the appropriate support.
My aim is to develop a therapeutic alliance with clients and provide a safe and confidential
environment within which to explore issues.
I abide by the standards of conduct, performance and ethics as determined by the
BABCP (www.babcp.com) and am supervised by a qualified and accredited Cognitive Behavioural
Therapist.
Qualifications
Diploma in Counselling and Group work a Cognitive Behavioural Approach.
